About F2 Quality, LLC
The story behind the company and its’ logo…
F2 Quality was founded by Ed Lowden, who can trace his passion for helping others – to include businesses and organizations – back to his childhood. As a young boy, Ed’s parents were both volunteer first aid squad members: giving back to the community was something his parents instilled in him and his siblings from a very young age. When Ed was in grade school, he would volunteer to wash ambulances on weekends. When he became old enough, Ed too became a volunteer first aid squad member: he has performed CPR and other life saving techniques – numerous times.
Taking his desire to “give back” even further, Ed enlisted in the US Air Force at age 21, first serving as an avionics technician on fighter jets, then as a crew chief on airborne refuelers. Prior to retirement, his USAF career culminated as a First Sergeant, ascending to the position of Wing Staff First Sergeant, reporting directly to the Wing’s Vice Commander, a Colonel.
With a strong desire to continue serving with the Department of Defense, Ed became a Quality Assurance Representative with the Defense Contract Management Agency. Earning a reputation as “The go to guy for guidance and training,” Ed was promoted to the position of Lead Quality Assurance Representative on a team of 10 auditors. Following this, Ed was then promoted to supervisor of the team, which included a Quality Engineer and an administrative assistant, in addition to the 10 auditors.
